Pathfinder srd wayang spellhunter1/23/2024 ![]() ![]() They've got to roll twice due to nightmare, and take the lower roll. Swift fix an enemy with your stare, hit them with castigate. Splendor.Optional: Need more spell slots? No Problem! Man! this comes up once a week these days!Quad save Castigate all day.Step 1: Wayang/lineage CastigateStep 2: 1 level Crossblooded Sorc, Fey/Serpent.Step 3: Nightmare bold stare, Psychic Inception Bold stareStep 4: Persistent metamagicStep 5: Don't forget This beauty which actually allows you to go half-orc if you want, instead of gnome or kitsune.Step 6: Get the various rods as you can for Undead, Oozes, and other pains in the asses.Step 7: Everything. Other important magic Items: Lesser Threnodic Rod, Mesmerizing Tatoo. I gave my eyeball a cracked vibrant purple prism to drop Deja Vu as needed if someone failed a save. Deja Vu is a very effective, no save alternative that forces the enemy to attack again the round after. You could us Extend spell or something on Murderous command, but I find it overkill. Psychic inception is pretty much mandatory, and Sapped Magic protects your party as well as giving you 1-2 feats of Spell Penetration. Astounding Avoidance+Reflexive is kind of like having Evasion and Stalwart? Mesmeric Pantomime is a shockingly large and creepy bonus to Disable Device or Stealth checks. Reflexive similarly lets you get more tricks into play in combat by using them on yourself as a swift/immediate. 3 Mirror images on the primary tank/melee, which bounce to the person in the most danger mitigates a lot of damage. You'll have a ton, so I took Bouncing, which lets you put a couple on someone as one action, and the extras move to another ally when it triggers. Mesmeric Mirror is your bread and butter trick. Dropping a 1d3+2(alchemy stuff)+5(Pain)+3d6(Pain) Ranged Touch, no SR Acid Splash that also takes away your target's Dex to AC is kind of nice support. If your GM will allow Blinding Stare or Confusing Stare, take one of them (I prefer Confusing.) They aren't allowed in PFS, so I took Perturbing Stare, which is still solid. +2 DC on your compulsions is huge, and Serpent has given me a ton of fun being able to Charm Person/Suggestion enemies that module writers weren't expecting. Acid Splash is surprisingly effective with Stare feats and Pain if you're in a situation you're not totally dominating. One level of dip into Sorcerer for Cross-Blooded (Fey, Serpent) goes a long way. At 6th level, being able to blind as a touch attack is pretty solid, and it turns into a 30' ranged touch attack at 10th. I went Eyebiter because having a flying talking eyeball who can shapeshift into a copy of you on the regular and bicker with you is fun. But your CLWs are 1d8+5 because you're casting them and the wand is just recharging. This lets you buy a Wand of Recharge Magic instead of a Wand of CLW. Any building is considered Urban terrain, so there's not as much limitation here as you'd think. I also took Fey Magic (Urban) to pick up 1/day Cure Light Wounds and some other cantrips. I had a ton of fun with a Gnome Mesmerist in PFS. /r/3d6 - For character creation, advice and sharing (system agnostic)./r/Battlemaps - For your VTT battlemap requirements./r/Tabletop - For your general tabletop gaming shenanigans./r/lfg - Looking For Group, find other players, etc./r/RPG - For general, non-Pathfinder related RPG discussion./r/Starfinder_rpg - For dedicated discussion of Paizo's Science Fantasy system and setting./r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker - To discuss the Owlcat-made computer RPGs./r/Pathfinder2e - For dedicated Second Edition discussion./r/Pathfinder - For Pathfinder Society Organization/Discussion.Other subreddits you might be interested in: Fillable character sheets and intelligent character builders. Some of these tools and resources include the following: We have a Wiki page that includes links for various useful tools and resources, most of which have been provided by the members of this community.
